LocatED, an arms-length property company owned by the Department for Education, and Countryside Properties Plc are bringing forward an exciting new vision to transform 259 Plaistow Road in Newham – the former Dagenham Ford garage next to Plaistow underground station – called Plaistow Place.

Consultation

This is your opportunity to view and comment on our plans for Plaistow Place, which will aim to deliver a much-needed new secondary school and homes.

We will then share our updated plans early in the New Year.

Demolition and remediation works

Works are due to begin to remove the vacant buildings on the site in early December. This is to prepare the site for future construction works, which will require planning permission from Newham Council.
